Arm
Lift
- Arm lift or brachioplasty,
is used to remove excess skin and fat from underneath the arms. In
certain cases, liposuction is used to remove fat before excess skin
is cut out. People who have sagging or drooping skin on the upper
arms due to weight loss, aging, or genetics are good candidates for
arm lift surgery. After brachioplasty, the arms appear significantly
more trim, firm, and smooth.
Buttock
Lift
- A
buttock lift is a surgical procedure intended to tighten and lift the
skin of the buttocks. During this operation elliptical segments of skin
and underlying fat are removed from the buttock area. Any remaining
skin and tissue is reconstructed to achieve a tightening and smoothing
effect. The operation is designed to improve skin and underlying tissues
that becomes loose and flabby, whether as a result of massive weight
loss, natural aging, or heredity. Although the operation is often combined
with liposuction, it is aimed primarily at the tightening of skin and
deep tissue. As with liposuction, it is not a correction for obesity,
and patients should be at normal or near-normal weight before surgery.
Thigh
Lift -
A thigh lift
is a surgical procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the inner
or outer thighs. The procedure can dramatically reduce the appearance
of enlarged thighs. But bear in mind, it does produce a permanent scar,
which, depending on the extent of the original problem and the surgery
required to correct it, can extend all the way around the upper leg
extremity.
